The National Council of State Title III Directors (NCSTIIID) is hosting its fall webinar on October 18, 2016. The focus of the webinar will be English learner (EL) issues connected with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and specifically the recently released non-regulatory guidance on English learners and Title III from the U.S. Department of Education (USED).

Guest speakers on the webinar include Kenji Hakuta with Stanford University, Millicent Bentley-Memon with the USED Office of State Support, and Supreet Anand with the USED Office of English Language Acquisition. This is the first quarterly webinar hosted by the NCSTIIID, with two more planned for this school year, one on January 19, 2017 and another on April 13, 2017.

This webinar is open to anyone interested. If you are interested in more information about the NCSTIIID or in becoming a member, send an email to titleiii.directors@ncstiiid.org.
