Inside Sales Specialist
Position Title: Inside Sales Specialist
Reports to: National Sales Manager
Position Type: Exempt
Compensation: Salary, bonus and benefits (PTO, Medical/dental/vision, 401K plan and AFLAC)
Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for aggressively growing our customer base through effectively employing polished, professional telephone sales prospecting, presentation, and closing techniques. The candidate is expected to meet defined quotas through generating sales, which produce long term subscribers. The candidate works closely with and supports the National Sales Manager in a team atmosphere to accomplish sales objectives and strategic goals.
Mandatory Skill Sets:
- Create, manage and implement a territory sales plan that produces results above goal
- Professional selling skills. Demonstrate mastery of solution selling skills
- Proven success in selling a concept over the telephone (vs. a product). Must convert complex legal and policy issues into clear, concise sales points that make the buying process easy
- Ability to relate to prospects through advanced telesales techniques. Relate to prospects over the telephone and create long-lasting relationships in the sales process
- Disciplined time management, ability to make call standards without fail. Ability to pass through gatekeepers to get to decision makers, making efficient use of time. Practice time and territory management daily
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University with a GPA of at least 3.0
- At least five years of sales experience. Be able to demonstrate the ability to plan, prospect, present, and close sales in an inside telesales environment

Primary Responsibilities:
- Sells TransACT services to new accounts through, but not limited to outbound phone calls, emails and fax
- Closes sales to achieve quota
- Identifies, qualifies, and pursues new sales prospects. Match TransACT services to customer requirements
- Arranges and delivers professional and effective online sales presentations
- Generate proposal and quote requests (proposals and quotes by others)
- Manages leads by tracking and follow-up
- Collaborates with marketing, customer service, business services, and account managers to ensure successful handoffs of new accounts that exceed customer expectations
- Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly activity reports and communications to Supervisor as directed and in accordance with sales plan
- Attends trade shows and conferences as required by Supervisor
- Engages in continuous awareness of industry trends, company activities & updates to increase knowledge base
- Performs data input and maintenance in company CRM system
- Makes recommendations for process improvements that will increase productivity and streamline the sales process

Marketing Communications Assistant

Position Summary:
The Marketing Communications Assistant is a hands-on position requiring high cognitive and tactical ability. Candidate should be able to multi-task in a fast-paced workplace by assisting in creating, managing and implementing marketing campaigns supporting the Company’s products and services. The strategic focus of the role is to assist in increasing subscription retention and upgrade rates to existing customers and to acquire new customers through effective marketing campaigns. The candidate will work closely with the Marketing Communications Coordinator to support both the retention and sales teams in a high-energy atmosphere to accomplish objectives and strategic goals.
Mandatory Skill Sets:
- Assist in creating, managing and implementing effective marketing campaigns that produce results
- Professional level writing ability with ability to transform technical or legal concepts into easy-to-understand language for non-technical readers
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively top to bottom in an organization
- Ability to work with creative services team members
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recent graduate from an accredited University with a GPA of at least 3.0
- Received/will receive a degree from the University’s Business Program
- Candidate will have at least one year of experience (including internships) in marketing
- Desktop Publishing experience with InDesign 3+, basic editing and web publishing with Adobe CS3+
- Basic understanding of website visitor and blast email tracking with reporting on usage stats.
- Experience with Apple OSX software (preferred), Adobe® and SalesForce CRM system (or similar)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development of online and print resources to support multi-step, strategically timed customer communications including renewal and retention programs as well as new sales campaigns
- Assist in the development of monthly eNewsletters and other strategic communications to customers
- Make sure that all communication methods effectively market our image, products and services with the same consistent branding and positioning
- Collaborate with the Marketing Communications Coordinator and communicate effectively and regularly regarding marketing plans and results
- Assist/support the sales team in achieving the sales and upsell quota
- Volunteer strategically focused ideas (and alternatives) to impact goal achievement
- Assist in creating a proactive, innovative, action-driven agenda aligned with the department’s strategic outcomes and initiatives
- Assist in continuously improving TransACT’s competitive market position
- Assist in all marketing activities. Including but not limited to online marketing, monthly eNewsletters, direct mail campaigns, marketing requests, implementing strategic initiatives, assisting with retaining key accounts
Other Responsibilities:
- Commit to work at least 40 hours each week
