

Onsite training is available for districts of all sizes. Over the course of two days, a TransACT® Certified Trainer will travel to your district to provide expert guidance on implementation and training. The first part of day one will include an executive briefing for the district executive team and a one-on-one training session for your district’s TransACT Coordinator. For the remainder of the day, going into day two, sessions will be scheduled to train groups of people in the district on site navigation, document usage and best-practice recommendations.

Best practice has shown that onsite training is most effective when staff are trained in groups organized by responsibility. This allows sessions to be focused on the specific needs of key roles such as principals, administrators, clerical, or special education staff.

Forest Hertlein, Ph.D.
Executive Director, Federal Programs
Dr. Forest Hertlein brings more than 30 years of experience as a teacher, compliance officer, and public school administrator to TransACT. In this role, he has offered his knowledge and expertise to the development of our parent notifications collections. Dr. Hertlein has published several categorical compliance and program guides for state departments of education and local school districts and has conducted comprehensive training and numerous workshops throughout the nation.
Monica Munar
Executive Director, Customer Operations
Monica Munar manages the company's statewide customers to assure best-practice implementation and training. Additionally, she oversees all customer care, support, and upgrade sales functions for the company. Monica brings with her over six years of experience in customer support, recruiting and team management. Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies from the University of Washington.
Hilary Shirey
Senior Account Manager, Western Region
Hilary Shirey manages the company's customers in the western territory (Texas to the west coast). Hilary specializes in implementation, training, and on-going support for districts and ESAs of all sizes. Hilary also assists her customers in identifying additional products that might fit the ESA or district's needs. Hilary's previous experience includes over seven years of project management, healthcare compliance, and administrative assistance. Hilary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
Jamie Osgoodby-Zabel
Account Manager, Eastern Region
Jamie Osgoodby-Zabel manages the company’s customers in the eastern territory (east of Texas). Jamie specializes in implementation, training, and on-going support for districts and ESAs of all sizes. Jamie also assists her customers in identifying additional products that might fit the ESA or district’s needs. Jamie brings with her over four years of experience in account management, onsite presentation and training, and customer support. Jamie achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communication Studies from Eastern Washington University.
